2006 e53 3.0i - 133k ODO - For Sale
Details coming soon, work has been a little busier today than I intended. I've got a 2006 e53 X5 3.0i that I had been saving for my Son who turned 16 today and after a long discussion he is wanting something smaller for when he goes off to school in a few years for fuel efficiency etc... this was our family vehicle that we eventually out grew and has been taken care of since it came into our care sometime ago. Currently at 133k on the ODO. Will post more details and publish the bumper report for full visibility to anyone who is interested. I know the market is back and forth on these things and I know with how tight knit the community is for the e53 I would prefer for it to go to someone who can appreciate it for what it is. Was 5200$, asking 4600$ so it doesn't sit. Update: Pictures! This has been in North West Kentucky / Southern Indiana its whole life, but there is no frame rust, routinely washed and kept during winter months. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/k3174...=ojp17hys&dl=0

Per the Bumper Report, I am the fourth/second Owner,
Initially bought from BMW of Dallas, TX in 2006 and sold to BMW in Dublin OH as a Lease vehicle and when BMW of Dublin OH sold it to a Private Party at 29,120 Miles in 2008. It was then purchased from World Class Motors in Noblesville, IN at 82,711 in 2017 to a family friend and then in 2019 I purchased at 110,051 miles. There is one reported accident where I had it parked in-front of my house on the street and a drunk driver side swiped the mirror on the driver side. The rest of the vehicle sustained no damage. It is Toledo Blue Metallic, with a carbon fiber wrapped hood. There was a hood latch failure that caused the hood to fly up on the high way and smacked the windshield because the plastic hood latch catch had been knocked off and not replaced. The hood on it is actually white but has been wrapped since 2019… likewise the mirrors are matching silver because I could not find the same blue after the mentioned side swipe. This is an automatic with a panoramic moonroof. Just trying to provide as much information as I can for a prospective buyer. Full spare with Firestone’s all around that have less than 6000 miles on them. Going to try and figure out how to post pictures.

Updated with Pictures.
I had the Panoramic Moonroof reupholstered and there is some residue from when the shop put the roof back in. Not at all thrilled with the job, but at least the fabric isn't hanging down from the moonroof anymore. There is one ding on the entire vehicle and that is on the driver door, next to the carrier, I have circled it in red. All of the doors have been sealed to address the common leaking that the e53 faces. Plastic shielding was added inside the door in addition to the doormat and then sealed with marine sealant. Window regulators all in good shape, the passenger had the clip replaced when the mirrors went on a few months ago. I couldn't find any matching blue mirrors with the puddle lamps so went with the silver since to me it looked sporty. I still have the other mirror. As mentioned the hood is wrapped and is starting to show a little age with the sun. Open to any questions. *In the pictures I have it parked down at our family shop, hence all of the other cars around it.

Time got away from me and I went to move it the other day, ended up noticing the coolant alarm and put a new coolant reservoir and hoses. I really don't want this thing to sit and end up needing work done to get it back drivable again.
Marking down to 4600$
