Nav DVDs for sale

I have one each of the BMW/Navteq (N.A. ver.) 2002.1, 2004.2 and a 2005.2 nav. dvds (all blue labels) for sale. They are in good condition, and work perfectly. Make me an offer for one or all.

Hey jek889;

Can you explain the differneces between the versions? Is it upgrades to streets that are there in 2005 that were not there in 2002? If the answer is yes, do you know if the latest version you have will work in a 2002 Nav system? If yes again, we might have a sale. Do you have a price in mind?

The newer the version the more up to date it is (streets, points of interest, etc.) The latest is 2006.2.

If you have a 2002 then you will likely need the CD versions, not the DVD. The DVD-based MkIV was introduced with the 2003 X5.

Are you asking if can be done (yes, it can), or do you want a bootleg copy? And no, I won't sell any bootleg copies in any case.

FYI. One thing about the new 2006-2 version is that it has a new feature that tells you that you are not on a digitized road and that accurate navigation cannot be maintained if you go soemwhere the computer does not recognize. I used it this week on a trip to the Grand Canyon, and the new feature popped up on some of the roads within the park. I don't know if this is all that great of a new feature though. I found it kind of distracting.
