4.4 Exhaust

Yup, I've got one for sale, too.

This is the stock OEM cat-back exhaust with dual black chrome (?) tips that was removed from my '04 4.4 when I installed my Remus. The exhaust had approx. 10,000 miles on it when it was removed.

The exhaust is in great shape, and has been sitting in my (dry) basement for a while.

SOLD.

Thank you, bostonbluX5.

may be interested, but i have a couple of questions for anyone who may know: will the 04 exhaust bolt up directly to a '01 3.0i? and also are those black chrome tips removeable so they can be replaced with the chrome tips in the euro accesory catalog?

Yes, I believe it is fully compatible and should bolt right on.

I'm not sure about this. I know that the chrome tips in the accessory catalogue are pressed/force fitted onto the end of the stock exhaust, but I'm unsure if they are fitted over the black chrome tips, or if the black chrome tips are first removed and then replaced with the chrome tips. I'm guessing that the black chrome tips are removed first -- not sure, though. Someone here will know.

A couple of people told me at the DC Meet that the chrome tips are fitted/pressed on over the stock black chrome tips.

Yes they are, the OEM tips simply go over the stock tips...no welding or such nonsense
