i've read a lot of questions about Carsoft. The diagnosis soft- and hardware kit for your BMW.
What is it?
Carsoft is a software program for windows and BMW. It can read your cars computers and gives you the mistakes stored in your computer back to the program. After that you must clean the memory of the carcomputers with the Carsoft software.Than you must read out the carcomputers again and than you've got the actual mistakes of your car. Sometimes the dealer doesn't clean the memory.

Now that you've know that, for example your speed sensor at the right front is not working you can work on it for a good reason and not losing a lot of time and error for the wrong reason.

With Carsoft 6.5 you can also activate a few things in your car, for example lock the doors when i'm dirving faster than 5 kms in an hour. Or you can change the language of the OBC form German to English. Or change miles to km's and so on. Also you can reset the green lamps after an inspection 1 or inpection 2. So all the five lamps are on.

So it's a reader of the computermemory and you can change the memory of the car with it. You can not change the mileage or kms. You can just see if they are correct.

I sell the homemade hardware for the Carsoft 6.5. You get the OBD 1 plug (for older BMW's) under the hood you find a round plug. You get the OBD 2 plug (for newer BMW's) in the interieur of the car. And you got an interface.

Because after you connected the car to your computers comport (or a notebook with a comport , i'm working on a usb port this is not available yet). It's not acceptabe to connect the computer directly to your car, you can dammage the computersystem of your car so you need to use an interface. On ebay you find a lot of hardware without the good interface !!

For the hardware the OBD1 plug (also for the first X5) and the OBD 2 plug and the interface my price is 250 UK pounds or 350 euro's (inl. sending by mail to your house). Sending it registered it's + 10 euro.
