Make me an offer

If it isn't sold within 2 weeks, I'm taking it to a local exotics dealership on consignment. Make me an offer. Call me at (425) 945-0100 or email at [email protected].

Nice X5, but your asking was way high, that is why no serious offers.

Thanks
Brad
I agree, he'll be lucky to get 34k for it.

There is a dinan s3 (supercharger) on ebay right now with a buy it now price of 29k

yeah with the bremos and all the dinan mods, it would be worth it just to part it out!

here is another 4.6 with under 50k miles for 31k.

Stop hijacking this guys thread, the EBAY link is for a 2002 with no Dinan mods, it has no relevance what so ever. Moderators should delete these posts.

this thread is not hijacked at all. just showing would be 4.6 owners that 40k+ is too much. And its complelty relevent showing another 4.6 as an example.

This being said, I picked up my Dinan S2 (minus sway bar) 4.6 for 33k back in Feb.

Thanks for keeping my post near the top at least. While it's clear I overpriced it in the beginning, it's definitely not overpriced now so I don't want people to be scared away by all the posts about other 4.6is's.

It's been "sold" 3 times, all three for at least $39k (which is higher than I'll take at this point). The first guy's wife pulled the plug. The 2nd guy bought a new one at the last minute and the 3rd guy simply couldn't afford it.

Secondly, the other X5's you all are referencing are 2002's. 2002's are 5-6k cheaper so it's not a valid comparison at all. Take $31k + $5k + $2k for the Dinan stuff and you get $38k and we're comparing an auction car that you know nothing about. One of them had over 100k miles on it too.

Third, a couple weeks ago, there were 36 2003 4.6is's with 30,000-50,000 miles on AutoTrader. The average asking price was $41,789. Once again, add a couple grand for the aftermarket stuff and you get ~$44k for an asking price.

If you're still reading, thanks for your attention. The bottom line is that I want to get it sold (we're leaving on an extended trip soon and I need it sold before we leave). It's a fantastic car in great condition that I'll sell for any reasonable price. If it isn't sold in the next few days, I'm taking it to a high-end consignment dealer.

Oh, by the way, my house overlooks Lewis Creek Park and we're down there all the time so you were seeing it. Can you vouch for the condition?

Thanks,
Dave

FYI...I was one of the supposed buyers but decided to go newer for the Mrs since I already had an '03 4.6...Although I haven't seen it in person, I received extra pics for closer inspection and consideration. It's not a bad deal, considering the after market advantage. We did plenty of research for 03's and up but this silver baby was at the top of my list, had I bought it I would've kept it and passed mine off to the the wife. Unfortunately wifey fell in love with the new 4.8 after a test drive...she say's it didn't feel as "tall" as my '03 and hugged corners better.

She's a beauty Dave and she deserves the right owner!

How much do you want for the bike rack if you still have it?

Thanks!
