SALE PENDING / Possible delay, I may have to get the title myself first.

Yes, I believe you will have to buy the X from BMW and then turn around and sell it once the title is in your name. I had to do the same thing when I bought mine from someone who had leased it and was just going to either sell it to me or turn it back in. Technically BMW still owns the car and they arent going to sell it to someone for a price that you want to sell it for. Its a pain in the butt, but hopefully it all works out for ya!!

i bought another bmw from someone in exact situation. long story short, you do need to buy the x5 from bmw financial first, before you can turn around selling it to 3rd party.

i am in the market for a x5 but not the price tag w/ the v8 motor. very nice truck you got... good luck

Get the V8, more fun, more balls, and about the same gas mpg as the 3.0 6cyl.
His truck is very nice.

I think the difference is about 1 mile less with the 4.4

exactly, not that much of a difference, but the feel is quite different! I tested them both, 3.0 and 4.4 and no regrets choosing the latter one!

Just a question - why does your X5 have just a long plate of leather behind the door handle? Mine has like 3 different panels.

Probably no rear seat air bag - ??? - I would assume that's the answer.
