Have to sell my E53!

I don't want to sell my X5, but I am in a position now where i have to cut back on expenses. I figure here would be a good place to post, since those who visit this site have a true understanding and appreciation for this vehicle. I tried to trade it in recently for a used pick up, but I was very insulted by what they wanted to give me for it.

Here's the specifics:

2003 BMW X5 4.4, Topaz blue metallic with gray interior and light poplar wood trim.

Car is in great shape. Comes with 2 sets of wheels and tires, has a Remus Sport Exhaust (not overwhelming), painted ground effects and premium sound (stock). I'll throw in all weather floor mats and the trunk floor guard too. All the windows are tinted, limousine in the back, and legal (MA standards) in the front. It has Xenon light package, and I installed the clear/red tail lights and clear side markers. If I was able to keep it, there would be one more thing I'd do to it, and that would be to install a cool headlight assembly like the ones from JLevi's.

It is still covered under BMW's Certified warranty for another 2 years or up to 100,000 miles.

Car has 67,000 miles on it, and I have all maintenance records. It has been very well kept and serviced only at BMW of Peabody (very prominent dealership in my area). I can have my service rep answer questions about it.

It is a new england car, so there are minor scratches and such from winters here. I keep wax on it though, so the paint and clear coat are in great condition.

I live in the Boston MA area, and if you're interested and close by, we can arrange to meet. If you're not local, I can help find out about shipping, and i will answer all questions to the best of my ability, and with all honesty.

My asking price is $22,000.

I love your car man...but I think you're reaching a bit with a 22k asking price. But good luck with the sale.

Also, don't forget to mention that your X has painted plastic trim along the bottom as well. That changes the look of it and makes it look better..Or I guess thats what you meant with "painted ground effects".

It was a Nissan dealer and they offered 16 and change. Nissans are fuel efficient cars, so I'm sure they're moving them. Anyway they didn't seem to be offering me any extra incentive. I'm gonna check out Chevy and maybe even BMW to lease a 3 series or something.

I can buy my 2005 4.4 off lease (dealer price) for $23,000 or $27,000 CPO.
