damn those things look retarded. Whoever buys them is an idiot. It almost looks like if you step on them they will break right off.

These stick out compared to the OEM ones. Ask for closeup pictures from the seller and you will notice that they are not flush.
I can only zoom on one picture and this is the one where the Aluminium Running board looks like its has just been rivetted into the oem plastic trim.
The other pictures show what looks like Bmw own kit with the fenders and everything............If all they are supplying is the Aluminium running board, then the bidder should be able to return those on the basis of false advertising!!!!!

Note that little advertising sheet says "BMW X5 Anti-Step something or other.." I bet you'd be screwed if you tried to return them..I mean, I could see someone buying these if they couldnt afford the OEM's, but they are about the same price!

Same price !!!!!I got my oem kit here in Portugal for 871euros with 10% trade discount and the quote I got from Bmw Holland Park in London was even higher!(although I believe in the USA ,these are more affordable!).

It would be interesting to find out if the item on Ebay does include the fenders in the kit?????The main picture lacks these??This is definitely a MUST ask question to the seller before making any bids!

Yeah, I hear ya. However, all the good things on the Euro models come stock, and the things that dont come stock are cheaper in the US ...132's, Full clears, etc...

Believe me, I know..I own a US spec X5 in the UK, and I get raped everytime I go to the stlr....How about a quote I received 10 minutes ago for an aux input connector and installation..£156 labor + £42.99 for the part = almost 400 bucks!(USD)
