And who really wants dinan exhaust??? If you want to go back to stock I'd consider the trade

But good luck with the rebuild, and hopefully she will be better than ever!

Personally I think it's a bad idea. Over in the USA that would be called a "salvage vehicle." I believe your insurance rate would be different (higher) and forget about trying to sell it and get a decent amount. That sucker is basically yours forever. Here is one example.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-X5-4-6is-SPORT-2003-BMW-X5-4-6is-BLK-DVD-PDC-FULLY-LOADED-20-HID-GPS_W0QQitemZ180329141840QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Car %20s_Trucks?hash=item180329141840&_trksid=p3911.c0 .m1%204&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A3|39%3A1|240%3A1318

Auction # 180329141840. Listed it a bunch of times, got 1 offer for $9,500, and this on what was basically an $80,000 car.

I think he made his money from insurance check. No need to sell, keep it till doors start to fall off. Its cheap and he can mod the hell out of it. Good time to put Euro lights.
