Feeler: X5 CAI

Looking to get a group buy going of five or ten of these. The actual CAI will be a lot smoother with less welds but these are what they turned out as powder coated. BMC Filter is included, this is a direct fit that doesn't require tune and we had over 155 dyno pulls to calculate average gains. The average gain was around 10+ but these graphs show a 7whp gain. The highest we saw was a 15HP gain and the lowest was this 7whp so we took the best stock air box against the worst CAI run to show the gains you would get. We are asking around $550 but might be able to let it go for less if the group buy gets to 10. Let us know if you are interested!

Why not pay $400 less than the Dinan intake? We are only making about $100 a CAI on these.

I am guessing the 4.8is and 4.6 have the exact same intake?

Ummm...Dinan CAI for my X5 is $629, is more aesthetic, and they've extended their 15% rebate... ...

New price is $550 and now that I look at the Dinan CAI doesn't come with the MAF housing like ours does. Dinan's only includes the Cold air box and filter.
