hahahaha... yeah... I figured that I reallly don't need the springs in front and too much blind spot in the X5 might as well get rid of the rear view mirror.

If I have NAV with non-dsp, what else would I need besides the sub?

I'm not certain what else you would need. I advice you to contact other's who have done this conversion (non-dsp to dsp) for they'll surely know what things are needed.
