FS: OEM Base Support #82 71 0 415 053

For sale is the OEM base support.

I mounted it up once and realized I want to go with something else.

My loss is your gain. Never "used"

getbmwparts.com has is for $181 plus shipping.

Im willing to sell it for $150 shipped.

Hi Ed

Its for the roof rack. They are the cross bars on the roof shown in the pictures above. They are the aluminum colored pieces.

yes its the lockable version. Come with the two keys and the allen key. This goes on/off the car very easily. I installed it within 15 mins. I put it on, drove around with it for a few days, and now its off the car. I was planning a ski trip but the rack I ordered wouldnt be here on time so I picked up a thule snow cat.

These cross bars work for everything though.

I have the original box and owners manual as well.

Is it true that the Thule and Yakima base roof rack's sit lower than the OEM BMW roof rack?? By sit lower i mean that the bars are closer to the roof of the car.
