Well, I have the Fortera since Jan 09, I live in Michigan, they are fantastic in snow, better traction than the RFT Bridgestone, cost less, the only thing I am not happy about there is a very mild noise because of the trade pattern(but you can not hear them unless you pay attention).


I used Fortera before on my 97 Range Rover, and it was great experience so this why I got them on the X5

Do you think the Bridgestone RFT are quieter than the Fortera tires? I think the Bridgestones are noisy, but mine have 25000 miles and about 5/32 of tread left.

the bridgestone became noisy around 12000 and were replaced at 32000, now thw fortera has 20000 and as I said a very mild noise coming out of them if you pay attention

In the last photo there is a leg with a brown shoe. I'm not interested in the leg, but does the brown shoe come with the car?
