New Price: 2005 X5 4.8is Silver on Black, Hitch, BSW Sound!!
I am very sad to put her for sale, I love this car but need a sedan to commute to my new job! I am selling my Silver on Black 2005 X5 4.8is, it has 69,500 miles, a Clean Carfax, and I've always garaged it (in San Diego) and had it profesionally detailed. The exterior has no dings or dents and the interior is in great condition. I also just spent $1K in new tires! In addition to the tires, it has new brakes, New front suspension: Control Arms and CV boots, new Air Suspension Module, battery, and Power Steering Hoses. Like most 4.8is's, it is loaded with all the options: Navigation, 20 inch wheels, comfort seats, adjustable suspension, front and rear heated seats, front and rear park distance control, panoramic sunroof, bluetooth. In addition to these options, it has the following upgrades: Brand New Tires (Toyo ST Proxes II) BMW Tow Hitch (with a custom installation, see picture) BSW Subwoofer with BSW front sound stage (woofers, mids, tweeters) BMW Ipod adaptor Auxiliary Input (custom install in the front tray see picture) Tinted Windows Rubber front and cargo mats Thanks for looking! If you're interested in parting out with anything (i.e. you end up trading it in to a dealer) I'd be interested in the wheels and stereo.

Do you know what is triggering the arrows in the info display in the dash board? Those come on to warn you when something needs service.

To know if there is a malfuntion or not, a pic. of the message "Check Control OK" or a simple blank (unlit) = No problems. on the display will solve your question. Hope it helps. Edit... Whops... guess i should go rethink it XD (guess i was wrong)

LOL, wow bro you made that pretty confusing. Im pretty sure AZX was right. Those arrows only appear when there is a triggered fault. Mine currently has the arrows for Brake linings...

The arrows (little carrot arrows) do not come on as you toggle through the menu. When they stay on, it is to warn the driver of something on the car not working. It could range from a burned out light bulb to something more serious. When you initially start the car the message in the display will tell you what is wrong. Then after a little time has passed the message goes away and the arrows stay.In my original question I was trying to find out what is causing the arrows to stay on? When you initially start the car the message will be in the information display. |

If this is still available after the first week of May and I don't find anything worthwhile on the east coast, I'll definitely send you a PM. My schedule is too tight to even consider flying down before May
