Are these sold? I am interested in a set of X5M or X6M wheels, alternatively a rear X5M will do

Got the same set off eBay brand new for $1450 shipped w/ tires, but they're not stock. Nice wheels nonetheless.

Same wheels, paid 3x less...you think my X5 really cares if it's rolling on reps or the real deal? They look and do the same thing, so why not share the information for those going for the same look? I fail to see what's so funny about that

People like you would wear a fake $150 Rolex and actually feel good about it.....and think that it does the same thing "tells time" just like a $15,000 Rolex would....its exactly the same difference between the wheels you bought and the wheels I am selling ![]() The reason of my previous post was to let you know that your comment was not appreciated and if you are not interested in buying them please dont try to knock my FS thread! |

JarJar Binks (that voice and name come to my head everytime I see your screen name
![]() These have been "on sale" going on over three months w/o a pricedrop, you might or might not be a scam artist from another forum, then your'e going to compare a simple watch to an intricate timepiece made w/ completely different production procedures (once again, my wheels are cast, just like yours), and all the while these still haven't sold...but i'm the dumbass. Sure, maybe the difference between reps and factory might be a few pounds, but selling for 3x the price...you're selling weight in the wrong business then. "People like me" are fine w/ reps, then "People like you" might only want factory parts, so if someone wants only factory parts, my post won't sway them either way. My post was informative (this is a forum to share information, no?), while your reply was to start insulting and make wild comparisons..., hey, to each their own. Nonetheless, as I said before, nice wheels. GLWS

Well, I am not going to argue any more with you about this because obviously you dont know what you are talking about but would like to point out a few things - 1/ These Style 300M wheels are forged not cast 2/ Buyer/Looker Guidelines
Oh and yes, you are right you cant sway away people who can afford these wheels to buy replicas on ebay just like you cant sway someone to buy a replica rolex when he can afford a an authentic one. You kow why? because they know better ![]() and no matter what you say, its the exact same comparison - replica rolex Vs. Authentic Rolex or a replica LV bag Vs. an authentic one.....wherever there is a replica of an original my comparison works.... |

The issue of the OE parts vs replica is an old argument that comes down to the individual doing the buying. I have come to learn that usually there is a reason for things to be cheap or expensive but at the end of the day an informed buyer needs to do the research on it. As much as I appreciate the heads up on reasonably priced parts, I feel someone's for sale thread is not the right place for it. The correct course of action would be to contact the seller and negotiate a price acceptable to both parties.
