BMW E53 X5 / E46 3-series CPT9000 phone cradle (bluetooth upgradable) for MY 2004

For E53 X5 or E46 3-series built from 09/2003 to 02/2005 with the Premium Package (ZPP) or Assist (SA639) the TCU supports the CPT9000 phone system. This system uses an eject box in the center console which can be upgraded to Bluetooth with the BTUM module. I've already sold the BTUM, but now have the cradle for sale.

84 11 6 946 635 Eject Box, list price $349

Here is the procedure to install the Eject Box or "phone cradle".

1. Remove the 3 torx screws from the bottom of the center armrest to reveal the wiring

2. Removing the existing storage tray in the center console.

3. Feed wiring from CPT9000 cradle through opening, snap cradle into place

4. Connect wiring and zip-tie so that it won't bind if the armrest is slid forward.

5. Have the vehicle coded according to SIB 84 01 03 (retrofit "Telephone professional US")

6. Use the v60 Motorola phone or install the optional BTUM and pair to a Bluetooth phone. Enjoy your handsfree system!

I'm guessing most people will use the BTUM Bluetooth module with this cradle, but if you want the v90 phone shown in the photo just let me know.

The eject box is in excellent condition. $70 + shipping.
I will also send a copy of the SIB listed above. See the attached PDF for CPT9000 Parts Bulletin.
