Brand new in box directly from BMW parts department. The ones that are sold on the aftermarket are of poor quality, and will usually start leaking again. Note to person who purchases this. It is advisable to order the valvetronic motor gaskets, the 4 vanos solenoid o-rings, the 4 camshaft sensor o-rings, the 2 eccentric shaft sensor gaskets, and both upper timing cover gaskets. It is never advisable to just replace valve cover gaskets by them selves. It is smarter to just remove the valve covers, and timing cover gaskets at the same time. They fail at the same time.
