2012 OE e70 auto-dimming side view mirror glass
I bought these to replace my '08 (mine are scratched), but it turns out that mine have the defrost feature only. Mine use a two wire connection, whereas the auto-dimming version uses a 4-pin cable ribbon connector (see pic). $200/set shipping included in the USA

Hey sorry, but I thought you will be interested - I just got to euro side mirrors ( eliminates the blind spot) heated, with two prongs connectors, like yours and they do not fit my car, need 4 wire connector - if you want they are in perfect condition fot 220 shipped

It consists of two lenses that sandwich an electro chromic (electronic color changing) gel. The inside sides of the lenses are coated with a transparent conductive layer coating and the deepest lens has a reflective coating. This gel, when charged with electricity darkens, then clear once the glare is no longer detected. The mirror uses a forward sensor which measures the outside ambient light, and a rearward sensor to look for glare. When dark enough, it sends current to the electrostatic gel, darkening it a rate which is related to the level of ambient darkness and rearward glare. When the outside ambient light increases, the current decreases, until the gel is clear again at daylight light levels.

The ones I have are original bmw mirrors from Europe and I paid almost 300 for both...never heard about inspection problem, never had one too
