Why? A '60s Beamer?!

Fairly simple to work on, but probably need new rings or, at least
the oil control ring. Drum brakes, aka down shift and drag feet.

Suspension will be shot, unless recently rebuilt by someone that
really knows what they are doing. Electrics, the same.

Just imo, and jes' pointing out some things to consider in shopping
for a 40+ year old scoot.

There's a 1970s model called the R90. Variations were R90/5 and /6 I believe. They look and feel like the older bikes but have neat things like a disc brake.
