X3 Bluetooth module
Looking to swap out my assist module for a bluetooth module. Any recommendations where to look?

Check with Randy at http://eiskits.com and tell him you were referred by X3world/X5world

Do you think they have anything for a 2004 X5?

According to this TSB, the Assist module can be swapped for a combo Assist/BT module and the vehcle recoded to give you both as long as your production is beyond 03/04 - http://www.bmwmotorsports.org/pdf/841304.pdf If your X5 was made after 03/04, check with Rob_ about sourcing you a new module.

uh-oh
I get an uneasy feeling about all this. I have an X3 that is 12/03 production. I have a feeling I'm looking at module, bluetooth antenna, etc.etc.etc...
Maybe not worth it. Thanks for the document. I'm going to research with my local dealer to see what they know about the whole thing. I'm sure the price tag is geting higher by the minute!
