exactly! the leaf blower is too noisy and bulky really.. i have one that is part of my wet/dry shopvac and blows at 115mph. worked great but it's way too noisy for the effort...

the shop compressor with air gun works much better...

I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do that. My neighbors probably think I'm nuts, blasting away with my airgun attachment.

Honestly i thought this idea was absurd when i first read it. I usually use a california jelly blade to get the majority of the water off, blow out around the windows and door handles, then towel the rest. I actually now see that a leaf blower would work but i think it would just be a pain in the ass. I also understand that there are some people that don't have air compressors so that poses a problem. I have worked as a detailer for a few years now so i have always had the luxury of having compressed air on tap. Do whatever works for you...

Just don't use the nail gun...

And all this time I thought I was the only crazy lazy doing this...I have a little Toro electric that works great...have not figured out to get it to buff the wax tho...
