Bluetooth compatability question

Hi, i just bought a motorola razr v3 cell phone which has blue tooth. Does anyone know if that phone will work with the x5s oem bluetooth setup and if yes how do i set it up and if no what phones are needed for it to work with my x5?

Yes, it is compatible. The only unfortunate part is that there is no snap-in cradle available.

I don't know why not, the V3 is Motorola "bread and butter" phone; not to insult you but I really believe the V3 is highly overrated. If not for the compact slim size; people wouldn't be getting it.

Thanks for the info. Just one more question. Were you guys able to set it up yourselves or did you have to go to the dealer to do it. and is it easy to do.

Others here know better than I, but if you get this phone through Verizon you may have phone book loading problems, otherwise, you should be all set. I believe the main reason they don't have a snap-in cradle for it is because its connector for charging, etc. is on the side of the phone instead of the bottom. There's tons of info around the site on paring procedures - try a search & GL!

It’s not really all that thin. If you compare it with say a Treo 600, the V3 is not that much thinner or shorter in height. The Treo 600 is not a new phone my any means.
