What Version ULF do you have? This seems to be crucial for some phones...

strangely enough..I am not sure. I purchased from NAVBMWANDPARTS from ebay. The serial number was scratched off the ULF module. ROB_ was able to pull the pairing code off of it so it works great. I suspect that is not at least a couple of years old.

I have checked and my local service provider (Telus in Canada) is still only offereing 4.0.2. This version stabilizes the BT connection but still does not allow contact list downloads.
What provider do you use and where did you get the upgrade?

Actually...did a little research and found a link to get it installed "unofficially".
http://www.bbhub.com/2006/02/03/how-...lackberry-7250 It works as advertised and all other functions are intact. Very pleased. Now I just have to figure out how to limit the number of contacts that transfer...I have way too many to make this practical

Sadly, this did not work for me. I have a 2006 X5 4.4i with BT and a 7250 now with 4.1. Any ideas?

Have you already paired successfully? Is it just the contacts not transferring? If so, go to the Bluetooth menu in the 7250 and make sure you have all the settings correct for finding your phone and transferring contacts...

You know, I feel like an idiot. I tried it 3 times yesterday minutes after upgrading the 7250 and it would say "Loading Phonebook", but nothing came across. This morning (after a bit of a delay) I was surprised to see that it worked like a champ.
....now, as someone else mentioned, how to limit the list of 1200+ contacts from going across???? |

I am still trying to figure out how to limit the contacts transfered...no luck so far. Filters don't seem to help. The only method appears to be using "hot list only" which appears to transfer the most frequently called numbers....not what I had in mind. Regardless...this is better than having no address book at all
