pairing razr

I need some advise from the experts. I just bought a motorola razr and I am trying to pair it with my 2005 4.8. I turn the key on and hit activate phone then hit find me on the phone, and nothing happens. This is all new to me and I'm sure that I am overlooking something. Any help would be appreciated.

first turn on the Bluetooth fuction on the razr. then, find devices. your razr manual should tell you how to get to these menus.
