Is this ULF Module a Bluetooth?
I cannot seem to get any kind of response from the car other than "phone connected?".

Nope, its a TCU
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...=84&fg=10&hl=8 You may need to go to a dealer to get it sorted out, as they are coded to the car.

not sure, you may need a convertor lead, have a look over on http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/bluetooth/page/0 they may have more info
