Motorola vs. Nokia compatibility....

Just to give some background, I have a brand new 2006 X5 with the BMW Assist/Bluetooth package.

I currently have a Nokia 9300, and basically it gives me the same functions that a bluetooth headset would. No address book, etc.

I was thinking of changing to a smaller phone for the summer (the Nokia 9300 is a pain to carry around), so I was looking at the Motorola L2. It basically has the same software & operating system as the SLVR L7, the RAZR, and all the V-series Motorolas.

I was wondering what functions I would gain over what I currently have with the Nokia. I'm guessing it would upload the address book and allow me to browse all my phone numbers on the nav screen. But what other features?

Would it upload all numbers (home, work, mobile) or just one number for each contact? Would I be able to see how many bars of signal I have? Would I be able to view incoming text messages? Any other features?
