4th gen bt module, slvr l7, snap in, questions

So, I have a 4th gen bt module in my 02 x5, bt seems to work fine w/ my audiovox smt5600,although it doesn't load the phonebook. My wife is getting a new SLVR L7 and I'm hoping that it will work well AND load the phonebook...thoughts on this?

Also, has anyone seen or heard tell of a snap-in for the SLVR phones?

Thanks for any help.

I tested a Cingular SLVR L7 with my 5th gen module, and it worked great-- loaded the phone book and everything. Some of the compatibility is carrier dependent.

When/if you get the SLVR, let us know if it also shows SMS messages on the screen. That is what I am looking for. SMS works great with my older SonyEricsson phones, but it will not work with any RAZR I tested.

BMW does not have a SLVR snap in yet.
