Not likely. The BMW Bluetooth module communicates with either a nav computer or MID through the I-Bus to show names and such. Plus, it ties into the radio to mute and play audio output.

So, if you still have your MID installed in the car, the BMW BT module might display numbers and such. However, you would have to do some serious wire jockeying to get the audio out through an aftermarket JVC system.

Hi,
thank you very much.Sorry,I don't speak english very well because i am french,so i try.

Can you explain what is the MID ???

On the aftermarket Jvc system, there are input video(Perhaps may display numbers and such???) and input audio (Perhaps get the audio???).
In the set menu there's "phone muting".

1000 thanks

Ps: I connect the Jvc system into the car with an ISO cable,so all the items(BT and cable)are still in the car.
I don't cut any original cable or connecter!

The MID is the abbreviation for "Multi-Information Display." The MID is the device below the radio (the part with the tape or CD slot) that displays radio stations, time, date, etc. You also use the MID to set the car's on-board computer functions. The thing on the with the volume knob, audi/DSP, and telephone buttons in this picture is the MID.

If the MID is still installed, then the Bluetooth phone information would probably display. I am not sure how the BT phone modules sends its outputs to the radio, so it may be compatible through the ISO cable.
