Unpairing a V3 Razr from X5 with 2006 combo Assist/BT module
Hi - has anyone done this successfully? I followed the instructions in the owners/bluetooth manual and it's not working. I'm supposed to be holding down a button above my storage compartment while the key is in a certain ignition position. Only problem is that there isn't any button above my storage compartment. There's one on my steering wheel, so I tried that but I keep getting that voice saying "sorry". My phone has bluetooth enabled at all times and it's paired with the X5 just fine. I'm just not sure how to unpair it. There's a pic attached of the button I'm pressing on the steering wheel. Thanks!

The instructions you are following that call for the use of a button in the center console are for vehicles with the Visteon BT module (2003 and earlier). You have the Motorola combo Assist/BT module in your 2006.
I'm not sure of how you unpair all phones from the vehicle other than to try deleting that profile from your phone. The BT module only pairs with the most recent 4 devices mated to it, so you could also try pairing some other devices so that your V3 falls off the list.

you have to unpair from the phone not the car. Select unpairin the phone menu or turn bluetooth off on the phone.
