Jeff. Where did you get the p/n for the antenna? I can't find anything for 84-11-1-470-326. I am only coming up with 84 51 0 016 669 which also retails for almost double what you paid. Am I looking at the wrong part? Also, the ETK lists a few other seemingly related items (antenna line, basis antenna, adapter, and basis antenna). Did you use any of those?

Well Jeff's DIY was pretty great. It took me about 2 hour with a lot of goofing off. The only thing I did different was to also loosten the rear exhaust mount (the one closer to the engine) on the left side. This loweres the exhaust about an inch and it was easier to get the wire in the hole. The I put the exhaust back up before putting the plates in.
I found a 3 prong wire running with the antenna wire. Anyone know what it's for? Do I have the right antenna wire? It is the only one I found down there but I must say I did not see a real increase in signal strength. ![]()

Did the dealer's give you guys the relevant part number of 84-11-1-470-326 ? I'm very curious because all the references I've seen seem to point toward p/n 84 51 0 016 669 which I can only assume is a more complete kit. Any ideas?

Glad it worked for ya,
![]() The cable in the photo is the cell booster. I don't use this on my X5. I saw a significant increase in signal strength. Make sure you connected the correct antenna cable to the eject box. mgruber: Call Crevier and order the part from them. I'm not aware of the part number being updated. I didn't need anything else. I did order an antenna adapter (mini dongle), but didn't end up needing it. I Quote:
