EDITED: (with correct info)

I think you can have up to 4 phones paired with the ULF, dominant phone is the last phone paired (pair slot #4), then in reverse order of pairing.

Only one phone will work at any one time, as the ULF tries to connect to the last phone in order.

eg: your wife has a BT phone paired in #1 pair slot, you have #2, your wife gets in the car first and the starts the car, (her phone then pairs), you then get in the car, and the ULF detects your phone and "sees" that it has a higher pair slot and moves the ULf connection from your wifes phone to your phone.

Only one active connection is possible.

I believe it's 4 phones, and the last one paired is the first one that is looked for i.e. its a LIFO lookup.

Enter pairing mode and then hold the pairing button down for 10 seconds. All phone pairing will be deleted. There is no way to delete just one phone except by pushing it off the list by pairing other phones.

Small cavat to Ricard's point.

You can only delete phone pairing's if you have the ULF BT module (as you have a physical pairing button).

If you have the integrated BT/Assist TCU module, phone pairings can't actually being deleted as described above, as you dont have a pairing button. The TCU can again store up to 4 phones, so if you add a 5th, then the 1st get's deleted.

If you recode the TCU, then it will delete the phone pairings .. however that can only be done at the BMW center.

I'm pretty certain the iDrive TCU can support upto 4 phones as well. Does it mention anything in the user guide for the phone ?

As per my other posts my combined Assist/BT module (part # 84 10 696 3 758) would not work without the pairing button. Perhaps in the US models if you fit an eject box with the pairing button you can delete the phones as described?
