Motorola has just released the E815 phone to Verizon, it is presently available for $149.00 less discounts etc.
Has anyone out there switched to this new phone and tried it in in their X5 with the -114 TCU?? From what I've read, this phone is "supposed to" address a number of the problems that the V710 had, the question will be, "What has Verizon toyed with"? The paste below is off the Verizon store site, the line of text, "It does not support all object exchange (OBEX) profiles" is a concern for phonebook transfer??? If anyones tried this phone I'd appreciate the feedback. thanks ......PeterD Basic Information Talk time: 280 minutes Standby time: 280 hours Size: 3.69H x 1.89W x 1.01D inches Weight: 4.6 oz Basic Features All Digital Phone 1.3 Mega Pixel Camera with Flash Speakerphone Connect with Bluetooth (using certain profiles)* TTY Compatible Meets FCC SAR limit.
