Verizon's Motorola e815 appears to be phonebook compatible with BMW ULF

For the Verizon peeps lurking around, there appears to be an update out for the V710 called the Motorola e815. According to initial reports, this phone pairs with the BMW BT ULF and also uploads the address book to the BT ULF module. Dimensions of the phone are the same as the V710, so the cradle may also be the same. See http://www.xoutpost.com/html.php?file=bmw_bt_phones.htm for additional details.

E815 is "all Digital"

I've been looking into (and waiting for) the E815 for months, and was set to buy it untill I discovered it is an "all digital" phone and only gets reception in "digital areas". If you are outside of the digital zone, you are SOL. Verizon dropped the analog mode to the phone.

I drive in Northern NH and Maine etc for business, in remote areas its NG, won't work, no 911 etc. Too bad, this new phone was really the answer to the V710. You can enable OBEX and DUNS pretty readily, 1000 memory phone book.....

I did a lot of research throughout varied cell phone forums and my answers are that the phone pairs fine with the varied modules.

Good luck
