2007 X5 and the PPC-6700....compatable??

Hi,

Just ordered a 2007 X5, and the various compatable phone lists don't cover my phone...the UT starcom PPC-6700. Anyone here that has tried pairing the two?

If so, what is the verdict? Fully compatable, partially compatable or don't bother....

I'd appreciate any comments or advise from those with experience with these specific models.

Thx!

I have an 06 X3 and the PPC 6700 never worked - Don't Bother is my opinion. I bought a Sprint Moto Q and it works flawlessly. Good luck.

Thx for the input....maybe a Razr might be more suited for BMW BT.

I sort of got the 6700 to work, but the volume level on both ends sucked. I upgraded my personal phone to a Razr and it worked flawlessly right away.

Martin, I tried the jetwaremobile patch and still had lousy volume. You even sent me another mic, but it didn't help. I tried another 6700 and a Moto Q. Still had lousy volume. Switching to a RAZR cured the problem immediately. Although Jonathan Spira was telling me he's had mixed luck with different phones even when using the same model. Sometimes it depends on the individual phone.
