2003 X5 4.4 no nav bluetooth problems
Ok, so here is the story. I had the bluetooth installed at the factory dealership here in Houston and it absolutely sucks. I have had bluetooth in the past, 2005 525i, and all I can say is that I am VERY disappointed. Is there anyway that I can have them uninstall the bluetooth system? It is unusable to the point where I have had clients tell me to call them back because how bad it is, which in turn hurts my business. I am in real estate and spend a lot of time in the car so I really wanted this system...but for $799 it isn't worth it.
So, what are my chances of being refunded? |

Is the problem that you can't hear the other party, or they can't hear you? If it's that they can't hear you, it may be something as simple as turning the microphone 180 degrees - common install mistake.
As to your question of what is the chances for a refund, only your dealer can answer that. But if you approach them and calmly explain the reason for your dissatisfaction, there's a good chance they should work this out with you.

Just asking to be refunded without giving them the opportunity to solve the issue is not going to fly at all.

Unfortunetly all the dealer has to offer is the first gen ULF module. Many people here will agree, stay away from the BMW first Gen
ULF module like the plague. I would take it back and source a newer system with the latest ULF module. Martin |
