Isn't that just the spec dock from BSW? (from the thread below it seems you can specify an iphone model)

that's Bindas pictures of his speck dock - I'm not sure if they sell it seperately, but great purchase for someone with iphone, bluetooth. even better if you've got iphone, bluetooth and Dice. I just cant get away from the blackberry though... or else i would get an iphone.

My understanding is that you should wait for the generation of I Phone.

yah, alot of this stuff has already come true - new ipod touch looks like iphone etc. You always have the ability to put more, but why would apple do that now when they can sell a 4gb iphone for $500 and a 160gb ipod for $350? soon, it will be a 160gb iphone... that's just how they release their product lines. i personally think the price points are crazy (but i still bought an 80gb for $300 a yr ago).

Not sure if iphone will ever start their service like blackberry, the push email is top notch. if they ever do, i'll consider it. Also get minimal data usage with bberry. When i had my treo with AT&T it chewed up bandwidth like crazy ($2000 phone bill with data roaming charges in Toronto).

iPhone sales will go up when they have more cariers adopt it as well - i'm sure at&t paid a pretty penny for exclusivity.

Big push from corporate execs for iPhone. It will increase iPhone sales dramtically if they can make it work with exchange like BB.

Dude that article is dated July 6, 2007 - ancient history when it comes to technology. Why wait? The iPhone kicks ass right now. Try one

I'm wondering if the dock in those pictures is the iPod dock, or iPhone specific dock.
From the comments above it sounds like you guys think that is the standard iPod dock...
As long as you can swap out the dock tray to fit your needs, that's cool with me. I have an iPhone, but I have a protective silicone sleeve around it, so I would require a dock that is a bit larger than the standard iPhone dock...

ANYHOW, I love my iPhone. Even more since modding it with some readily available software. A lot of the features that people gripe about it not having have been made available by some very talented 3rd party software developers.

Things that I now have that a standard iPhone does NOT have...
1- GPS (thanks to Navizon)
2- Video capture (only 5 second clips- it's in beta testing right now)
3- NES emulator with classic Nintendo games
4- MMS messaging (not fully functional yet, but in the works)
5- Advanced SMS messaging (multiple recipients etc...)
6- Voice notes (native voice recorder)
7- Custom themes, wallpapers, icons, sounds

There's a lot more out there, I just haven't explored it all yet.
Because the iPhone is a very compact touch screen PC, and it's ability to be upgraded via software puts it far beyond any other cell phone to date in my opinion.

P.S- I've also managed to use some software tools (Jailbreak, iBrickr, anySIM) to unlock an iPhone for my sister to use with T-Mobile... So T-Mobile users, listen up, you too can have an iPhone here in the U.S. In fact, the T-Mobile EDGE data network only costs $5.99 a month, which beats the hell outta AT&T's $20-$30 data plan.

it's the dock, just with the iphone tray, any electronics store may sell the dock trays (that u would use for ur bose etc). So you could probably just go in and match it up with the protector on that u have.

Also - my Blackberry Curve 8320 has all of that. And most of it, I didnt need software to download, and yes, I'm listening to music, watching videos etc.. LOL

I think the iphone is a great phone though, #2 on my list as far as features and coolness go...
