BT Pairing Button Alternative?

Well, since BT pairing button is no longer available from BMW, is there any aftermarket alternative that anybody knows/suggest? I dont want to put eject box, i just want a small button. Please advise....thanks!

Any momentary, non-latching switch will do.

This is what I have

£1.50 ($3) from eBay

Glad I could help Graham, heres a link http://tinyurl.com/yupgrw (you have to get them in pack of 5 but they are cheap), or you can get them as singles from maplins. (same price but for 1).

how do you connect them? I understand BMW BT button has 3 pins, what did you do?

The BMW button may have 3 pins but if you want an alternative then, you only need a 2 pin momentary (non-latching) button, and connect like so.

----Pin32 from ULF (the pair wire)----][-button--/ --][---------Gnd

Thats all you need,

At a guess I'd say the OEM wires are something like

Switched +12v (for button illumination)
Ground.
Pair.

The 18 ELO plug also has a Direct +12v
