E46 330ci convertible Bluetooth retrofit, new loom???

Hi people,

just wondering if its possible to retrofit a bluetooth kit to my car, i already have the widescreen, navigation and TV tuner, but will the loom i already have installed in the car have the relevant connectors for the bluetooth components ULF etc??? Or will a retrofit now require a new loom to be installed???

It is 2002 52 plate, i dont remember seeing any free connectors in the boot end of the loom......

Yes, it's possible to retrofit BT into your car.

Unless your car was spec'd with option 640 (BT Prep) then no.

If no option 640 then yes, you will need the retrofit loom (approx 120+vat from the dealer).

You probably don't then.

I was in the same boat, so I made my own loom, have a look here

Mine is a coupe, but most of the parts will fit the cab, (not the mic though).
