Bluetooth retro
NOT use the cradle location for my phone, I have Nokia 6600 and 6260 phones, but still BT pair with the system with the phone in my pocket, coat, anywhere in the vehicle.... I understand you loose the charger facilities but I can recharge as needed from the normal cigarette lighter plug charger I use. Will everything work uncradled ? if so is the cradle purely for GSM signal strength inprovement and charging ? Cheers W.

Your 2005 should already have the BT kit (it's a combo Assist and BT module). So you shouldn't need to buy or retrofit anything. In answer to your other question, yes everything works fine without the cradle. The only thing the cradle does is charge the phone and boost the signal strength by connecting the phone to an external antenna.

Sorry, didn't realize it was euro spec. Same answer to the questions, though, about the cradle.
Good luck!
