I've searched the achieves and didn't come up with the answer I was hoping to get. I am moving back to Colorado after spending 3 years in Germany, and I have the bug to buy an Apple iphone. Silly as it may sound (I hear enough about it from friends and family) I want one if for nothing more than a tech toy.

My question is this, those of you who have a 2006 X3 w/o nav, how does the phone do in your vehicle? Does the BT link up ok and load your phone book? I realize the sound is probably shitty because mine has been that way since I owened it. I currently now use a Motorola V3 and L7 with zero problems.

The BT function will be a deal breaker for me. No mater how much I like the iphone, if it doesn't connect with my 2006 X3 or my 2008 328XI it will be of no use to me.
