Thumbs up 2002 X5 BT retrofit success

My 2002 had a production date of 11/01, and it does have the DB25 plug (pre-wired for cell), so the retrofit was very easy. I ordered kit #3 from Advanced Autovations. I also purchased the ULF mounting bracket for a factory clean install. I am pleased to say that the system works as advertised, and I am so happy to now have FULL functionality of all of the steering wheel controls. I also have the 16:9 nav screen, which makes browsing the address book etc...very easy. Total install time was less than an hour.

I wasn't spending enough time in the X to warrant it. Now I am . I had $$ set aside for this project already. My attendance at the meet is a 50/50 chance at best. Airfares are ridiculous right now since Katrina .

What would it cost to perform a BT mod on a 2004 X5?
