looks like that is installed....any other ideas? I did find an "extra" purple coded "round" connector, (identical to the one plugged into the "black" plug on the TCU.) Thought that might be the pre-wire for the CPT phone system so I left it alone.

BT working flawlessly except for voice activation....

Did the "purple" round connector look kinda like this one??

If so, there should be a female one and a male one in the back. If you connect the two of them, it enables you to use the X5's internal cell antenna through your snap in adapter.

Does your MID show "Voice Recognition" in the display, but you have no sound?? Again, this is what I had to do: "Try putting in a jumper from Pin 11 to 14 on the plug coming from the cradle".

the -056 has a completely seperate VR directory than the one from the 815 cellphone.
you have to program the -056 phonebook independenly, press and hold the talking head, when it beeps say "help"....follow the prompts and create your phonebook.

Again, its an independent VR directory that you program and it connects via the cellphone
