Retrofit 6NF in 09 X5 that has 6FL
I have a new X5 coming (March 09 production) that will have the USB 6FL option and am wondering if the 6NF wiring loom and base plate can be retrofitted. At a option cost of $150 for the 6NF there could not be to much in it, the Audio & Nav units are the same here in Australia as they are in Europe, Canada and England and they have the 6NF option as well. Anyone out there that may have checked this out as a retrofit?

It sounds like the base plate for the phone cradle adapter and a different wiring loom that joins into the USB & Audio cable is changed. Does anyone have access to the part numbers of those two pieces of equipment? or could do a little research into it?
