How to remove the oddment tray from center armrest

I am trying to get the snap in cradle holder removed, but I stop at some point. I cannot remove anything but the bottom cover of the armrest to expose the wires. I need to track these wires inside the armrest. Please tell me how to remove it.

I have tested the voltage on charging connectors of the snap in cradle and it shows 0 V.

so really need to remove the snap in cradle holder and check the wiring

Here http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/all-...ay-bmw-x5.htmlare the instructions that I used. It worked like a charm. The instruction in the BMW manual suck and did not work for me.

Good luck!
