Bluetooth Retrofited with 10gen ULF
I recently retrofited my wife's 2002/8 X5 3.0 with the bluetooth ULF. The car was pre-wired so the install went pretty well. The system was actually in my 2002/2 M3.............
Anyway, problem I am having is that I got both phones (her's and mine) paired and they are iPhone 3G's. In my M3 I had no problems with using the system. Now in the X% however, I get NO audio through the car's audio system. People can hear me and I can use the voice recognition (it is displayed on the dash and radio what I speak) but I can not hear the system! Any thoughts are suggestions? We just had a baby and I am trying to minimize her distractions. |

Did you install the SES jumper. If so, give this a try.
Problem solved. TELon wire (white w/grn stripe) was not

Yes from memory the issue is around the SES jumper, you have to do something with the wires.

I've got the US instructions for an E46 so I don't know if they are the same as the E53, but it says that if you don't get audio to "check the SES jumper plug". If you want to PM me your email address and I can email you the EBA guide through, it may be of some help.
