I don't understand this procedure at all.
For 1. You say to turn off the engine. Should the key still be in and if so, in what position "0" or "1" ? For 2. Which one is the "pairing button" on an X5 with navigation if it's not on the steering wheel? I don't think a separate one exists. My understanding is that the "Send/Receive" button is the same as the pairing button and in an X5 with navigation that does not also have a phone eject box installed, it is the only such button. 1= radio circuit 2= full ignition 3= start. When you start the procedure the key should be on 0 (off), and then turn to 1 (not ignition lights, only the radio circuit). Quote:

The car is a US spec X5. Yes I have a TCU, however that doesn't mean that I don't have bluetooth, which I do. No pairing button has been removed, so the only sen/receive button, which is on the steering wheel, must then also be the pairing button, correct?

The TCU cars don't have a pair button.

Ok, you are right, you didn't say that. And I believe you are also correct in that with the TCU the first 10 seconds or so after switching on the car (I believe to position 1) the TCU goes into pair mode. So since I'm already in pair mode and didn't have to press and hold a button, what do I do to get it to delete the entries?

Anyone in the USA (that has the factory TCU and not the ULF) know how to do this?
