Nokia N97 not Pairing 2004 E46

Hi, this is my first post here, great site

Can any of you guys tell me why my N97 connects to the bluetooth and then disconnects almost immediately

I've tried various Mobiles and they are all fine eg Ericsson, Samsung all display my phonebook and SMS messages why not the Nokia really pissed with this phone cost a fortune
I've updated the Firmware of the phone to the latest version 20 so its not that.

Is there settings I have to adjust to get this to work on the phone or the Car.
