Install Instructions for ELK-800
I would like to install an ELK-800 amp for my phone system. I can not hear people talking when I am driving. I think that I am getting old! I have turned up the volume on my phone (iPhone 3gs) while on the call, using the voice command "Volume up" and also trying to adjust the volume when I am on a call. They are all maxed out. Anyway, it seems that people have installed the ELK-800 with success. I do not have any instruction (can not find any) on how to do it for my 2001 X5 with Nav and DSP. Does anyone have the instructions? Bimmernav used to sell the amp but it is not on there sit anymore.
Thanks for the help, Ron |

I am interested in the same thing. I just installed a Parrot ck3000evo with a CTPPAR007 module from connects2 and everything is ok other than the volume. I cannot use it because of this. While driving it's too low to have a conversation. I've read that some people added another speaker for the ELK-800 but I don't know if that the proper way. I sent an email to connects2. Is you BT the OEM version or an aftermarket one? Can anyone give us some tips please. I have a 2000 X5 with DSP, no NAV. |

I finally got mine working without the auxiliary amp. Do you have the factory BT or an after market system?
