You can buy the iPhone eject box from BMW, you don't have to hack the existing one to make the iPhone cradle fit.

BMW never envisaged in 1999 a phone would be as wide as the iPhone in 2008. They have got the idea now.

I guess then there is an IPhone eject box for the current model of E83; no need to modify one then eh?
