E65 is MOST (optical fibre) and not compatible with iBus (e39).

Did you follow the pairing instructions to the letter? You need to hold down the sneezing man within the first 2 minutes of turning IGN ON, until ACTIVATE PHONE is shown, then begin your pairing routine from the phone.

Just a page in the handbook or supplementary handbook. There are many PDFs online with pairing instructions for TCUs.

also just to be funny $20 for the tcu shipped out of a 2004 x5
Bluetooth antena + fakra from junk yard $30 i know i got ripped off on this but its ok, i got the wolf siren for 30 so total of 60$ is why i did it. Going into an e39 m5 02 i needed the 54 pin connector got it from audi for 6.7$ bux

So OEM Bluetooth/Assist/CDMA Phone I got it all installed for $ 56.7

Plus I ordered the navcoder for .27 bux i know its funny and the cable / usb for $35 shipped.

So I did spend over 40 hours on this project research/parts getting/custom cable but for a total of $91.97 + alot of headache I believe that my m5 is too good for me now, its sophisticated lol
